[ED. NOTE: Along with her bio, Barbara had sent in her reservation to
attend our renion; regrettably, she has just learned that a time-share option
has unavoidably prevented her attendance. Sadly, Meralyn Vellane Hansen and her
husband Wayne share that time-share; they, too, will be unable to join us. It
was actually Meralyn who first mentioned to me (in Dec '00) that the 40th
anniversary of our graduation would soon be upon us, for she and Wayne had just
happily attended Wayne's 40th reunion with friends from the Class of '60. We
regret that neither the Pecorellas nor the Hansens will be with us in
celebration of this wondrous event, but we are grateful to Meralyn for the
"push" that set our planning in motion.]
